Preoperative Cautions
- Consult with your doctor or practitioner to assess whether you are suitable for treatment.
- Consult with your doctor if you are currently taking medication.
- If you have had prior treatment in the application area, consult your practitioner or doctor (e.g., fillers, botulinum toxins, or laser procedures).
Postoperative Cautions & Care
- No special recovery period is necessary; makeup can be applied immediately.
- Treated area may appear slightly red or pink, which will disappear within a few hours.
- Avoid alcohol for one week. Slight puffiness may occur in first 3 days due to collagen production; this is normal and resolves in 3–7 days.
- Wash face with warm water for one week. Avoid extreme temperatures, steam rooms, hot yoga, or intense exercise. Apply sunscreen when outdoors.
- Hydrate skin for six months post-treatment to support collagen growth.
- 3% of people may experience heat sensitivity or water blisters; these are normal. Use medical-grade repair products for faster recovery.
- Immediate effect is ~20%, with best results 3–6 months post-treatment depending on individual needs.
- Short-term soreness or numbness is normal as new collagen activates.
Common Reactions
- Slight tingling or warmth during treatment; small bleeding may occur.
- Skin may react differently; color variations are normal.
- Temporary color deepening may happen for deeper pigmentation.
